Dear Franzy Salon,



I am writing to make the owner of Franzy Salon (the one in Gaisano Mactan, in Brgy. Pajo) aware just how bad their service is.

So about a week ago, I went to Franzy Salon on a weekday (I believe it was on a Thursday), so I could get my toenails pedicured. I waited for almost an hour, but there were no pedicurist available. So I bailed out and decided to do it on a another day.

I decided to come back yesterday as I had a dinner to attend to. I was there at around 3:47 in the afternoon. There were 3 people before me and I patiently waited. Two of the pedicurists were done with their respective clients and decided to go on a break. I waited. Then I realized it was already 5 in the afternoon. I've been waiting for more than an hour! Therefore I asked one of the staff (politely) what's taking so long. They answered in a very sarcastic tone that the two were still taking a break. They even suggested that their staff might faint whilst cleaning my nails if they do not go on a break.

I am a manager by profession and I was thinking, shouldn't these people plan their breaks so that they could cater to their wait listed customers. After all, these very customer are the people bringing in the money for their pay checks. While I do understand that as Filipinos, we cannot live without eating our merienda; however, as a manager, I feel that they shouldn't have gone on a break at the same time if there are customers waiting. Plus, answering a customer in a sarcastic tone is a no no. Not only am I not coming back, but I'm definitely using my blog to spread the word about their bad service.
